Nice to meet you!
I am a joy-and-connection focused event photographer based in Amsterdam, Netherlands - here to capture your most meaningful moments up close!
Why me?
Beyond being a photographer I have worked as a business professional in corporates for almost 20 years so attending a business event is second-nature by now - both with and without a camera in hand. I know the importance of capturing moments for employee morale & energising efforts, employer branding & recruitment, as well as of course professional customer interactions & general branding. And of course I am happy to speak with your marketing team before the event.
And it goes without saying that I have been a part of plenty formal & informal family and friend milestone events over the years as well so baptisms and PhD promotions are familiar traditions - again both with and without a camera on me!

My Professional interaction Style
People are most comfortable in pictures when they feel comfortable with the person behind the camera so I make a conscious effort to have professional yet fun interactions with guests. Of course I am always courteous - and I keep spontaneity top of mind!
With several years of Improv comedy training and practice I am very skilled at bringing out the joyful energy in people. And I know the difference between a real smile and a fake one :)
In addition, I am fully bi-lingual (American) English and Dutch, so I am happy to engage with you and your guests in either language.
My Photography Style
I consider myself a joy-and-connection shooter because I firmly believe that photography can help us realise how amazingly beautiful we are when we are radiant and shining. And when it comes to personal memories and professional branding the moments in which there was connection and energy are the most valuable ones!
My main style is ‘portrait-style-up-close’ supplemented by overview shots and shots of the cool details (food, decorations, merchandise/accessories. etc). Events are the result of weeks of planning and dedication so I ensure I show up with respect for the end-to-end product: process, people, activities & setting.

Prices
I work with tailored packages to ensure it meets your needs - reach out via the contact form or contact details below and I can create some options and recommendations.
To give a high-level idea:
Coverage for Business/Corporate Events is actually fully tailored - if needed brief coverage can be discussed (with a minimum of 2 hours)
Coverage for personal events (other than Weddings or Couples Shoots, so for example Graduations, Baptisms, Birthdays, etc) is tailored to needs but standard package prices range from EUR 600 - EUR 1500 (including BTW)
All indications include preparation & post-production time but exclude travel time/costs & (where applicable) album or printing costs.
